I rode on the Primary School performance expecting the same level of good reputable school with good passes but seems it is not the same. We have been thinking since it is pretty new maybe with time it will improve. The authorities do not seem to put an effort to improve on areas highlighted by the parents before the group was closed and open for admins only. Uniforms which are supplied by the school are of poor quality in terms of the workmanship because it is monopolised. There is no value for money on the type of uniform. Seems the tailors do not know what they are doing blazers are already torn within 2 months.

There's a culture of changing goalposts. Lying to the children too to scare them about stuff. Beatings too. No accountability to parents. A parents group where parents could ask admin questions was closed when parents complained the school had shifted goal posts on a lot of things.

Science lab infrastructure is good and the head is approachable. However, our experience so far has been so many promises and so little delivered. They promised French but it is not being taught, they promised sport and clubs but kids spend the sporting and club periods in class. The admin is not very responsive and commumication is kept to a bare minimum. There is no SDC/SDA and the school is not interested in having one. There is some dishonesty practiced by the school e.g. telling students that parents agreed to extra lessons for non-exam classes when parents were never consulted. To make matters worse, this is being introduced as compulsory, and for an extra cost to parents of day-scholars. Homework is mainly pages and pages of notes to be copied word for word where my expectation is application of what was learnt in class or research on an introduced topic. In my opinion, that time spent copying notes is better spent reading them and the student making their own short notes of what they have understood. Because of this, my current position is that I don't recommend the school.
