How reviews work
Who can leave a review?
Any parent or guardian with a connection to a school can leave a review. When you sign up, you tell us whether you're a current or past parent. Each person can leave one review per school.
What do you rate?
Reviews cover up to 9 sides of a school: academic performance, teacher quality, admin responsiveness, sporting facilities, safety & security, value for fees, infrastructure, rounded life skills, and boarding facilities. You rate each from 1 to 5. Only rate the ones you've experienced — skip the rest.
How does the rating scale work?
Each aspect is rated from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent). 3 or above counts as positive; below 3 counts as negative. Your overall recommendation comes out automatically from the average of your aspect ratings.
How are school averages worked out?
The overall school rating is the average of all aspect ratings across every review. We only show the average once a school has at least 3 reviews — that way the score reflects more than one opinion.
Can I review anonymously?
Yes. When you post a review, you choose whether to show your name. Anonymous reviews carry no identifying information — the review content is public, but your identity stays yours.
What does 'verified' mean?
Verified parents have shared proof of a real connection to the school — a fees receipt, a letter, something like that. Verification is optional but adds weight to your review.
Are reviews moderated?
Yes. Every review is checked for harmful language before it goes live. Reviews need to be honest, from personal experience, and respectful. We remove reviews with false claims, hate speech, or personal attacks.
