How Reviews Work
Who can leave a review?
Any parent or guardian with a connection to a school can leave a review. When you sign up, you indicate whether you are a current or past parent. Each user can leave one review per school.
What do you rate?
Reviews are based on up to 9 aspects of a school: Academic Performance, Teacher Quality, Admin Responsiveness, Sporting Facilities, Safety & Security, School Fees Value, Infrastructure, Rounded Life Skills, and Boarding Facilities. You rate each aspect on a scale of 1 to 5. You don't have to rate every aspect — only rate the ones you have experience with.
How is the rating scale?
Each aspect is rated from 1 (Poor) to 5 (Excellent). A rating of 3 or above is considered positive, while below 3 is considered negative. Your overall recommendation (positive or negative) is derived automatically from the average of your aspect ratings.
How are school averages calculated?
The overall school rating is the average of all individual aspect ratings across all reviews. We only display the average rating once a school has received at least 3 reviews, to ensure the score is meaningful and not skewed by a single opinion.
Can I review anonymously?
Yes. When submitting a review, you can choose whether to display your name or remain anonymous. Anonymous reviews show no identifying information. Your review content is public either way, but your identity is protected if you choose to hide your name.
What does 'Verified' mean?
Verified reviewers have submitted proof that they are genuinely connected to the school they reviewed, such as a school fees receipt or a letter from the school. Verification is optional but adds credibility to your review.
Are reviews moderated?
Yes. All reviews are checked for inappropriate language before being published. Reviews must be honest, based on personal experience, and respectful. We reserve the right to remove reviews that contain false claims, hate speech, or personal attacks.
